| Heart Transplant Time |
| With the adrenaline pumping after hearing our engine put through its paces, we were chomping at the bit to put the heart into the beast. After getting the 302 back from Engines Extra, we still had to add a few things before it would be ready for installation into the frame. Thanks to the folks at the National Capital Mustang Association (NCMA), we had a Ford T5, five speed transmission to attach to the block. As well, the March pulleys, MSD Blaster Coil, Alternator, and other accessories were installed while it was easy to get around the engine. |
| 302 shows the March Aluminum Pulleys and Weiand Aluminum water pump. By using these aluminum parts we should gain about 15 HP at the rear wheels. |
